I hope that each of you are enjoying good health, & life is good for each of you. I don't know if this is the proper place on this site to post this, but I thought what the heck it doesn't hurt to try. I still have my old 90 B2200 & it's sitting in the garage looking so sad from seldom getting driven anymore. It has over 350k miles on the clock & I still have the extra engine with 106k on it (I pulled it out of a wrecked B2200 truck along with the speedometer / tac assembly a number of years ago). The trucks engine is really lagging power now due to all the miles, and I am tossed between selling everything along with many-many parts that I had collected from salvage yards before the b-series trucks started disappearing from the salvage yards. I am tempted on purchasing a newer & flashier truck, or do I go to the trouble of swapping out motors. I am 65 years old now & retired, and I don't move like I use to or have the energy (like my old truck) that I use to, but I still have it in me to swap motors, as I could just take my time.
My question is if I decide to sell the truck do you think there is anyone left out there who might be interested in purchasing the extra parts at a very reasonable price, or has everyone pretty much moved on away from the b-series trucks?? Is that guy with the gray B2200 who moved from CA to MN still around, or the one in El Paso who drove a blue truck that he called Boo-Bee still around? Please let me know. Message me if that works out best. Thanks, Lead Foot (Larry in KCMO)

Leadfoot......I wish I had a camera rolling the other day. I got off of work late (was supposed to be a 1/2 day!) and didn't stop for lunch so about 3:00 o'clock I pulled in to a BBQ joint and had to wait on a car that was pulling in there also. I finally parked my little red B2200 and the passenger of the car that I waited on to park, jumps out and runs over to me as I was getting out of my truck and is just gushing over my Mazda......wanting to know the year, how many miles, etc. I told him it was a 1989, and still has the factory paint, and that I rebuilt the engine in 2007 or so and have been driving it ever since. He was amazed to say the least!
It is kinda neat that I am starting to see people that really wish they owned one of these trucks now-a-days. Whenever I drive any of my classic cars, I understand the interest and excitement that I get with those cars, but I am starting to see this now with the Mazda trucks that I own and drive. Pretty neat I think!
This is the most recent picture of the red regular cab truck.....that the guy was so enamored with!
I need to get the front differential swapped out of my 1993 4x4 Mazda B2600i truck, so I can start driving it again.......I would get a lot of people asking if I was interested in selling it when I was stopped at a gas station, red light, work parking lot, you name it! Here is the old work horse......manual trans also......I enjoy driving it!
Here is the spare diff. that I cleaned up so that I can swap it into this truck......I have new seals for it and new axles......just got to get the old one out and swap in the spare one. Once I do this, I will rebuild the original diff. so I have a new one ready to go if the spare starts to develop any issues.
