headlights turning off every minute
All,
Bought a used 2013 CX-9 earlier today. The car is great but while driving at night, I realized the headlights turn off automatically after about a minute. Doesnt matter if they are on high or low beam. Doesnt matter if they are on auto or manually turned on. Both headlights stay on for just over a minute and then turn off. I then have to manually turn them off and then turn them back (and again they turn off after about a min).
Any ideas what could be causing it?
Thanks,
Jay

This is an old thread see dates.
So maybe explain your exact issue.
Include:
Miles last service done and what was it
And also how old is your battery and when was it health check lats...date and limes?
If the battery is older then 4 years since you purchased or had a new one installed the first thing regarding any electrical issue it to check the battery by way of a load test.
