perception of age to tool pile is subjective. i have about 8 crescent wrenches and 10 vice grips

 

It was a joke; however, both are poor man's tools or DIY for working on any vehicles.
I can pretty well say that I have never taken any Certification that showed the proper use or use at all of either these tools.
Both of these tools I NEVER use on anything except parts I don't care about damaging and vise grips are great for holding freshly painted parts while they are drying . LOL
