First new Mazda ever!

I purchased a Mazda3 HB on 1/19/08 and I luv the car. I have owed pick-ups for 20 years and my last one was a 2002 F150 P.O.S. I was hesitant about buying a car that was under the Blue Oval, but the quality of the car was outstanding. The other day I was under the car checking out the motor and trans and I noticed an oil leak. I was shocked since the car has 1100 miles on it. What came to mind is I bought another FORD. Has anyone had this problem? Check out the pic of the oil leak.

Hmmm... Auto trans? That's what it looks like from here.Either way, I'd have it looked at at or before your first service.

No it's a 5 spd. The reason I went under the car was to install the Street Unit mount. I did install the mount and it made a difference with the wheel hop. I took it off so I can take it to the dealer on Mon. Hope it's a quick fix.

I took it to Ocean Mazda today and they ordered an oil pan for it, I will have the car on Tues. The verdit is the silicone never sealed the oil pan. Lame excuse. Maybe the car was made in CHINA not Japan. lol
