Welcome o the forum

The obvious but I will ask did you install the battery in the correct placement?

And did it work prior the battery change or when did it stop working.

Does your secondary or back-up key fob still work?

A general FYI to everyone... the key fob battery should be changed no less then every 12 months or sooner depending on usage. Batteries are cheap new key fobs or other service related to a failed key fob are not.
Also if they are not covered in some fashion the oils from your hand and figure dust dirt and other foreign material can degrade a key fob sooner than you would think. As well if the key fob while semi water resistant is not humidity resistant and that can cause a key fob to fail or other anomalous activations on your car.

The 2 things many mechanics and auto techs hate touching without gloves worn is a customers key fob and their steering wheel. LOL

Then with your good working key fob try to reprogram the one that is not working. If that fails then you lokely have a bad key fob.

I guess its how I worded it. If you have one working then you can try every method to get it to work and not worry about not having at least 1 working key fob.

I never use the second key fob to any of my vehicles and only take it with me when i am traveling for a backup. This way I always have one working key fob in the event of lose or function to the main one.
