Hi All ,just want to know if anyone has changed the GPS in a latest mazda
I have a 2017 CX -5 and want to change it to TomTom
any answers greatly appreciated

Daza, welcome to the forum. I have never heard of someone changing the GPS to TomTom. I would think that it would be difficult, if not impossible to accomplish. I guess that you could hack into the software and add an app that you develop to have the display act as a monitor to the TomTom system but then you would need to have a TomTom GPS somewhere in the vehicle. Hopefully, someone else with more knowledge can add more information.

My first recommendation would be for you to give the Mazda system a chance. I am not sure how it works in Queensland, but it works fairly well in the US. I am a Garmin user since they first came out and I see advantages of both the Garmin system I have in another car and the Mazda system I have in my Mazdas.

 

just watched an ad about the mazda ute and it has apple play in it
so was wondering if i could change it if anyone would know
