Default CX7 Curved LED Lightbar

Im thinking about installing a lightbar on my 2011 CX7. Has anyone done this or seen it done? Im trying to get some specks and instructions. The lightbar I was looking at is a 50" curved led universal lightbar from protuninglab.com.

Any advice or suggestions?

@ blackout-cx7

As far as I know, there are no mounting brackets for CX-7, cause it's quite uncommon modification. However, we do have several light bars with universal mounting brackets, you'll need to drill holes to attach them. 50" might be too big for CX-7, so you may need a shorter light bar. We sell light bars at CARiD as well, you can check our selection here: https://www.carid.com/led-light-bars.html

Thank you for your response. The width of my windshield is 51". You're right, it is uncommon, that's why I want to make this modification. However, I am finding out that it might not work because the body frame on both sides of my windshield do not peel back allowing for drill holes to be placed under the rubber seal.

Amazing link!!! Thank you for your resource, I'll take a look and see what I can do.

That sounds great, let me know if you need a quote or have any additional questions. Make sure to post up some pictures for us, once you get your new light bar installed.

I would benefit from an in-person assessment with experts like yourself that could point me in the right direction. Are there CarID shops near Tacoma, WA?

I'm also contemplating a roof basket with lights, instead of a mounted light bar.
Still undecided.

@ blackout-cx7

Sure, we will be more than glad to help you.

Unfortunately, there are no CARiD local shops at the moment. We are available 24/7, so you can call us in at 800.505.3274 anytime.

You can check all available cargo baskets here: https://www.carid.com/roof-cargo-baskets.html

And by following this link choose a light bar for it to match: https://www.carid.com/off-road-lights.html
