CX5 uncommand ramp up upon application of brake
I was near a red light and applied brakes, but the car accerated and run into the truck stopped in front of me. This happened around May of 2024. I took the car to the Elk Grove Mazda dealer. They ran diagnostics and a road test but found nothing wrong. The car had the problem again inside my garage. It rammed into the wall while I tried to stop it by applying the brake pedal. I took the car to AAA auto repair in August 2024. They spent 3 days testing, and they told me they found a problem with the "steering angle sensor," 22 degrees off calibration. They reset the sensor, and the car runs better. However, the car acted again after some driving. It ramps up while I apply the brakes at a stop sign occasionally. I took the car back to AAA, but they could not find any problems in a whole week. I still drive this (my only) car, but very carefully, keeping a longer distance between cars in front of me and braking ahead of any stop. The problem got worse. The brake padel will fight against the pressing at low speed or when starting from a stop. The Mazda dealer will not help, and the repair shop still can not duplicate the problem. I think Mazda USA knows this problem and they succeeded in covering up this issue.

They at least have a factory Mazda trained certified mechanic. Your problem is "dangerous" and the least they should have tested the drive-by-wire and data logged the ECU between the 2 for proper communication. Also the TB should have been tested for accurate actuation with the ECU command.
Don't worry to much about telling Mazda Miata what Elk groove did it is a part of your VIN history now and they will read it. Your Mazda for this problem is completly covered under the Mazda warranty
CAUION: You should not drive your Mazda until this has been resolved.
