Default Cx-30

Jud up my new CX-30

I am a 79 year old mechanical engineer. I am a Subaru fanboy. I have had six of them and own an '18 Forester XT.

The temperature of the coolant of my CX-30 cycles between 167F and 172 F I am hoping that is the temperature INTO the engine? Thanks.

After how long of a drive are you measuring the temperature?

What is the ambient air temp outside?

Those temps are quite low.

Why have you made three separate posts on the same issue?

I deleted the second post and then found your third post, which had vital info that is missing from your above post.

My first Mazda. I really like it. I do have an issue. I realize we are having colder weather. But my coolant temp cycles between 168 and 172 F and oil temp reads 152 ish. I assume on a longer drive the oil temp will get up near 170F but that is still not right. I intend to see the dealer tomorrow and hopefully they will change out the stat. I really don't want to hear "thats normal" bs.

Thoughts?.
Hmmmmmmmmmm

Welcome to the forum
Thats not what the moderator wrote. You just don’t start multiple threads asking the same question on any forum .

Not everything is in the new member guidelines. Forums have been around and very active now for over 20 years. So it is more or less forum etiquette or common sense as a member.
