Hi Everyone! I have been a Mazda enthusiast since 1997 when I bought a 1979 RX-7 GSL racecar. It was my first Mazda, but I quickly learned just how much fun a car could be. I went through the process of getting my racing license, then raced the car in the International Conference of Sports Car Clubs (ICSCC or “Conference” for short) at several tracks in Oregon, Washington, and even Canada for the next 8 years. At that point I got transferred down to Arizona and was unable to bring the RX-7 with me. I left the car with one of my buddies with the instructions to thrash on it as much as he wanted to. He ran it in the local auto-cross club for several years and even won a championship with it! The bad news is that he is moving and will no longer be able to keep it for me, the good news is that I can now make a place for it now down here in Arizona. I’m really looking forward to being re-united with my little green racecar… I didn't have a digital camera back in those days, so I don't have any pic's, but will post some as soon as the car gets here!
