Put the factory intake back on; the aftermarket unit won't to squat for your engine output, but often (and in your case has already) will interfere with proper engine operation.

You may not want to believe it, but the new intake won't do anything for the performance of your car.

This is the advice you need to actually help you with what your doing:
Cleaning the MAF with MAF cleaner would be a good idea. You should also clean the Throttle body with throttle body cleaner. Before you do these things, unhook the cable from your negative battery terminal (disconnect negative terminal), then depress brake pedal for 10 seconds-----now you can clean MAF, etc. Make sure both MAF and throttle body are dry before starting. Even if you don't clean MAF you should still disconnect negative battery terminal so computer can re-learn your new intake. reinstall negative terminal. Start car and let idle for 10 minutes. If you are still having problems after driving a couple days, then you have a lousy intake. The MAF should be in a straight section, otherwise you may have problems. Tighten all clamps on intake.
