2018 CX-9 brake rotor issues

Folks,
I bought a certified used 2018 CX-9 last year, w 23k miles. Have driven it now to 30k. It's ready for a 30k service. Few questions - would appreciate some feedback :
  • I'm noticing some vibration when braking at ~50-60 mph - which I thought would be due to the rotors. Mechanic said pads look fine, so yes the rotors. I was expecting to resurface the rotors (as I've done in previous cars eg Lexus), but he recommended replacing the rotors. Bit surprised w this (esp at 30k). Any comments and experience from users ?
  • Do you guys typically replace the brake fluid at 30k ?
  • anything else I should consider for the 30k service ?
thanks in advance !

Brake fluid is due every two years or 40,000 kms / 24,000 miles.
