2002 B3000 Trany trouble
 

Hi - I have an 2002 B3000 with an automatic trany. It shifts hard in the lower grears and sometimes the OD light comes on. The dealership has flashed the control module and can't figure out what the problem might be. They are now telling me I need a new trany for a cost of $3200.
Has anyone had trany trouble with a B series pickup and how did you resolve it?

So far mine has not had the problem you described. I notice it is "sluggish" shiftingin the winter but only until the trany warms up. I would appreciate hearing what you found out since your post.
