Thang: I never had to touch the crank sensor. But there is a book: Haynes manual, about $20. It would tell you the particulars of testing a crank position sensor and many more things.
Did you check the timing marks when the first cylinder is on the compression stroke? Without doing that you will not know if the belt has jumped a tooth.
