RE: Winter tires..

I'm running 205/50R17 Dunlop Wintersport M3's on my wife's wagon with stock 17" wheels and they are incredible in the snow. What a difference. They are quiet on the road and seem to wear quite well (just getting ready to go into the 3rd season on them)

RE: Winter tires..

I just purchased (4) 215/50R-17 Bridgestone Blizzak WS-60's from Tire Rack. Tire Rack tests all of their tires and they felt this was the best tire for snow and ice. They are remarkably smooth and quiet on the highway for a snow tire. I haven't used them yet in snow but can attest to Blizzak performance. I have them on my truck and my wife's SUV and they perform extremely well in the snow. I expect the same from the WS-60's.
