What year is best?

I'm looking at a 6 worth around $10,000 on CL. I found that most of those car are around the 04-07 year range. I was wondering if there was a certain year that I should avoid due to common issues with it.
Also, I'm looking for sunroof, spoiler, and probably the V6 (unless the 2.3L is truly better). I don't have to have leather, but I would like the Bose system. What style should I get? Thanks.

I've got a 2005 6s with the v6. almost 75k on it, I bought it used a year ago and have never had a problem. I've put close to 15k miles on it in a little over a year. From what I've heard, stay away from the 03's and 04's, they seem to have the most problems. Also, 05 and up had an upgraded suspension I believe. I love the v6, and after driving a 2.3 I'm definitely glad I went with the 3.0...and I've never had terribly bad mpg with it...(I've got quite the lead foot:D)

Zen, not sure why ur so down on the 3.0. The reason you hear about problems with the engine is cause most people only come here when something breaks. I race (autocross) my '05 6s (v6) hatchback on a regular basis and i have 65K+ miles on the clock with no problems what soever. On the other 6 forum i'm on i've seen about the same number of issues with both engines, and neither of them are that frequent. The one that i've seen people have the most problems with is the Speed 6 engine, and that is a 2.3L. IMO the 4cyl just doesn't have enough power for this car, I've driven and raced both, and this car pretty much needs the v6.
