RE: water leaks
water/fluid leaking into the car or under the car? After using air Cond.? If parked on a slope, front up or back up?
|
RE: water leaks
under the car..front right side . i didnt park it on a slope. i checked the water level for the wipers it seemed low. i had used the ac when the car was running.

RE: water leaks
sounds like its just from your a/c...no worries but you might want to call up your dealer and run it by the service guy over the phone......

RE: water leaks
Front right side is the AC condensor. If its green (or orange) and sticky, then it would be coolant.
My wife's 6 does the same thing (as does my 3) |
RE: water leaks
Is that normal?? I have not seen that before
|
RE: water leaks
Every vehicle I have every owned (and that's a lot) drips water off of the AC condensor when the AC has been running (It beads up on the outside and drips off) It's completely harmless & normal.

RE: water leaks
That sounds like the water from the a/c. So nothing to worry. To avoid this dripping and to prolong the life of a/c core in the dash, a mechanic has recommend that: a few minutes before the end of your driving trip, turn off the a/c but keep the fan running. This will keep the core dry to prevent corrosion and no dripping when you park.

RE: water leaks
Thanks guys,
I will contact my mechanic and check with him anyways.... I will keep you posted about any latest developments. Have fun driving |
RE: water leaks
Definitely sounds like a/c condensation...a normal and expected thing, no worries. Cheers,
David |
