Towing with Mazdaspeed6?

I'm looking for a fun family car, the kicker is it needs to be able to tow my very small race car So far I'm thinking of:

Mazdaspeed6
Saab 9-3 Aero SportCombi
Subaru Legacy GT Wagon

The Saab can tow 3500lbs if the trailer has trailer brakes which is about 1000lbs more than I need. The Subaru 2600lbs with trailer brakes. I can't seem to find any official numbers on the Mazda 6 and even less on the Mazdaspeed 6. All I need is around 2600lbs. The race car only weighs 1400lbs and I don't have a trailer yet but will make sure it's no more than 1200lbs. A UK site I found gives the Mazda6 a maximum of 1600kg, a tick over 3500lbs.

Can someone check their Mazdaspeed 6 manual and tell me what it says about towing?

Cheers,

Paul

I know the regular Mazda6 is not recommended for towing use at all here in the US. In fact the owners manual warns you specifically not to.

Guess that answers it. I hate when the same car has different limits in two different countries. I'm sure there is no difference between the Mazda6 here and a Mazda6 in the UK.
