slipping belt noise
 

I have a 2009 Mazda 6 with the 4 cyl. I believe it is the sport or touring (push button start). The problem is that it has this squelling noise that sounds like a belt is slipping. The dealer has replaced the pully's, idler pulley and then they relized it was comming from the exhaust. Since they found that it was the problem they have ploished the exhaust, replaced the catalytic converter, and even with all of that the noise has returned. The vehicle has 49 k on it. Does anyone know if mazda has a lemon policy or if there are any recalls or service bullitens for this problem. It is very frustrating to buy a new car and have the same issue over and over
