Anyone in snowy states?

Long story short, I moved from California to NY, so I’m not use to rust and today I bought a Mazda 6. When looking at the car I did put the car in the air and looked under and checked for rust. There wasn’t much at all. Everything else looked good including all maintenance records and 1 owner.


However, I happened to look under the dash and I see this (see picture). Is this something I should be too worried about?

The car has low miles and I was hoping to keep it at least 2 years.
