Recommended Independent Mechanic in Southwest UK?

Hi,
I have a Mazda 6 2006 Sport and am looking for an independent mechanic in Southwest United Kingdom (dealer prices seem high just for an oil change/filter after 100K miles). If anyone has suggestions, please let me know.
