Default Questions from a newbie, thanks!!!

I want to increase the HP and MPG for my Mazda 6 05

I search around Ebay and have noticed some equipents that I could add.
I'm poor so I'm just looking for cheap stuff........

1. Air Razor $24.99 (+15% MPG & 10% HP)
2. Fuel Ionizer $10.99 (+35% MPG & 20% HP)
3. SPEEDCHIP $0.99 (+20HP)
4. Progressive Tuner (+22HP) $34.99

I just want to know if these things really work or just waste of money....

Thanks for your time!!

Sounds like a little bit of 'too good to be true'. The horsepower gains that you are reporting for that cheap of a price are probably not even close to realistic and probably completely false.[sm=badidea.gif] I know that some of th cold air intake systems that are installed run $300-$400 and they are lucky to get a net gain of less than 10hp. I would say save your money and invest in something that has a more solid track record. Maybe some of the other 6 owners will have tried some and let you know from first hand.

Cheapest upgrade for HP gain and a little extra MPG (to the tune of about .5 mpg extra) is the K&N drop in filter. Don't waste your money on costly air intakes that will throw CEL codes all over the place unless you, and I quote from an instillation for an INJEN cold air intake, "Cut 1/4' off of the top of the intake". I almost laughed myself stupid at the thought of someone literally taking a blow torch and cutting off a piece of a $300 intake they just bought just so it wouldn't throw codes, and not only that, but imagine that saps reaction when it doesn't work! K&N is the way to go if you're just looking for a little more boost (3-5HP gain usually) and a bit more MPG.
