Default RE: Problems with my 6

Hi There
I was wondering if anyone was able to help me with a problem I have. I have a Mazda 6 2002 model (2.0L) and I recently replaced the rear muffler, and would like to take out the CAT converter. But ever since I replaced the rear muffler I've noticed a drop in performance, and I am pretty sure that takling out the CAT is going to worsen it. I believe that I need a piggyback unit for the ECU and to get it re-tuned, but this is a very expensive process. Does anyone know of a DIY piggyback unit that works, or might be able to suggest something else???

Many Thanks
