Question please help

got a code here just wondering what it could be, P0455, its a 2008 mazda 6 2.3L 5 door.

definition: EVAP control system leak detected- large leak.

when i printed it out it said the probable cause could be:

1.faulty fuel cap,
2.canister faulty
3.purge valve solenoid faulty
4.damaged/leaking EVAP hose
5faulty EVAP leak detection pump

thats all the ticket read out. so any help before i send her in would be awesome!

Well hopefully it's just the fuel cap is faulty and replacing that fixes the problem for you.

check to make sure the gas cap is on tight, usually 3 or more clicks. I've had this happen twice where I didn't screw the gas cap on tight enough. If that's the case the engine light we'll go off after awhile.
