Within the past few months, something has leaked *behind* the odometer glass of my 2012 Mazda6. It looks like soda pop spray but isn't. I don't see anything leaking/spraying under the hood. The dashboard was replaced for a recall, but that was years ago. Any ideas what this is, and how to fix it? I can barely see my speedometer reading. 2102 Mazda 6 odometer
well good and bad.... good news is you can clean it, bad news it is not easy and requires to completely remove and disassemble the gauge and in some area' hot glue parts to reassembly.
basically not an average DIY project.
How it got there .. well nothing I am aware of could have contaminated it from the rear of the gauge assembly itself so something contaminated it perhaps during a cleaning?
