Mazda6 Diesel Cylider head Replacement
Hi all,
Hope someone can provide me some options here.
Just had a new Coolant bypass assembly replaced as mine was cracked and I was unfortunately also informed that the Cylinder head was warped and also needs to be replaced. The mechanics advised the Cooling system is being pressurised by combustion in the engine due to the system being unable to hold pressure in the system. (There's a lot more info but I'm not going to go into it here) . They are genuine as they couldn't bear to charge me labour when they found out and tested everything !
My Question is , should I try and get this cylindr head replaced through a Mazda dealer or is this a whole new/ reconditioned engine , or do I just get rid of the car altogther? It's a 2016 Mazda 6 Diesel Atenza Sedan 150,000kms on it.
Look forward to anyones thoughts !
Cheers

It’s actually a warped head from overheating . I found a professional who knows what to do and I look forward to that fix .
Cheers
