I have a 03 Mazda 6, V6, 70K, and consistently get 22 MPG overall, 50/50 mix city/highway. I use Reg UL, 87 octane

 

I dont know what to do? I drive mostly HWY with windows down too. And in response to [64 microbus][/u] I agree with eating a double-double and fries it would be hard.

 

i'm all about the double-double 64Micro!!! protein & animal style tho!!!! wicked good!!! btw, after all this bitching i just squeezed 400miles out of my last tank....& got 26mpg!! wtf?!?!?!? i used 89 tho....anyone think that may have been the difference?

 

Hi Guys.

I just recently picked up a 2nd hand Mazda 6 (4 cylinder) 2.0 litre 2005. It wasnt in the best of shapes, but with 32,000 kms on the clock, It cost me $9,300...

For about 8 Gallons of petrol, I get about 3/4 tank full. This gives about 330-350km, with constant usage of the A/C and driving it in part city and Highway...

can someone here, advise me if this is an ok figure?

eh. My mileage has dropped. Now im getting 27 in the city. Im only getting about 470-480 in the city. Right after my oil change I was getting 530-540 miles on a tank. But it has been 2,000 miles since a oil change. Oh well.

 

Damn! I wish I was getting that kinda gas mileage.

 

I am very impressed with the mileage some of you are getting, the best I have ever got is 330miles [sm=smiley13.gif]

 

Thats funny because when I first bought my Mazda 6, I was only getting about 330 also. But now I get way more.
