Default Mazda 6 factory roof racks - collide with shark fin

Just bought a new Mazda 6 - great car. As part of the deal I got the Mazda roof racks fitted. The problem is they are unusable because anything you put on there directly collides with the shark fin antennae.
Got a roof pod - doesn't work - sits on the shark fin.
Got a surf board - doesn't work - sits on the shark fin.
Got a snowboard - doesn't work - you get the idea.
Seems like a major design flaw. Anyone else have this issue and how did you resolve ?

I’m getting my 6 on Feb so I am researching on this topic. Low height roof racks like prorackS54, genuine Mazda roof rack, etc seems to have this problem, despite these racks the best looking out there. I saw photos of Thule pods sittings on shark fins and you are confirming this as well. So I guess you just need to replace your roof rack with more clearance one.

Shark fin height is about 65mm, so you might need a roof rack to have at least 70mm height clearance? Let me know how you fix it

Welcome to the forum
Not sure how to respond except that it is NOT a design flaw. If you are expecting the auto manufacture to design systems based on every thought of what might be used to mount on them.... you may need two lifetimes to wait for that.

You might check with any Auto Stereo shop that can replace the factory shark fin with something that will be shorter in height or relocate it to another area??.
