Mazda 6 coolant fluid
 
I noticed the raditor was a little low in coolant. I know it has to be a 50/50 mix. But, is there any certain brand I should get? I am some what ignorant whens to comes to coolant! Thanks

The coolant in your 6 is orange in color. It is compatable with GM Dexcool coolant. Any good name brand is fine but stay away from the cheapy brands as they tend to break down quickly and cause cooling system problems. If your system is more that a pint low then you may want to consider taking to dealer and have them perform leak check. Coolant leaks are covered under normal warranty.

i can just barely see some coolant in the resoivour. The coolant is green in my car!

Coolant in all of the 6 cars I have seen have been orange untill the 06 model year when they switched to green. Best to top off with what is in the tank but if is that low then look for a leak. Do you have V6 or I4 engine?
