I recently got a new keyfob for my 2016 Mazda 6. After the new keyfob was paired to the car, the keyless entry system malfunction light came on and is always on now. Does anyone here know how to turn this off? It's really not that big of a deal, the car and keyfob still work in every way. It would be nice to be able to turn it off, though. I've been scouring the internet for weeks with no luck.

 

Was the replacement key fob a genuine item? Seen this issue before from non-genuine key fobs.
