Hi guys!
Im having a problem with my mazda 6 model 2009 since 2 years now and nowbody could fix it.
So listen to it:
i noticed that my car alarm turns on at several times without any cause. There is no exact time pattern, it can turn on several times in a day.
In the night i noticed also that the internal lighting opens and close without any cause and with all doors closed but not locked.
After all the experts i have visited, today i changed the doorlock on the drivers side because the last one said that this is the cause.
Saddly there was no solution to the problem. After 4 hours with all doors locked the alarm was ringing again.
I attach also a video with the internal lights open in the night with all doors closed but not locked.
Has anybody any idea what the problem could be?
I appreciate any comment because i have totaly freaked out due to the fact that 2 years after, i still havent found a solution to my problem...
It probably isn't this simple for you, but I was having issues with my alarm randomly going off for no reason and figured out it was my remote in my pocket being activated by other things in my pocket pressing into the buttons.
Good luck.

Mazda 3 2010. Yes exactly. Same problem I have to leave my car unlocked or face the wrath of people that had to listen to it constantly going off. Same symptoms. random alarm nothing present to cause it but the open door sensor goes off and on no matter if the key is in or not. It is clearly sensing the door unlock without the key being in the ignition. I want to deactivate the door sensor but I imagine that could cause worse issues probably like it not starting or something. Unplugging the horn will just mitigate the noise but the alarm will still be triggering so could drain the battery if the dome light and headlights keep going on and off. Any solutions would be great. Don't try to tell me it's an after market alarm or any BS like that. Its clearly the door sensor.
If you have a push button start, when you insert your emergency key into the slot on the column, it moves a little lever that activates a switch telling the vehicle you've inserted a key. Well, they used really cheap materials when making the cover over that lever and it literally crumbled inside my steering column causing the lever to move around. It started with my alarm randomly going off and the dome light randomly turning on. It progressed to the point that my fob would no longer set the alarm or lock the doors at all. I fashioned a new cover out of some scrap tin laying around the garage and haven't had any issues since.
