Legal/Titling question regarding CARB cert
I have a question for you fine people regarding CARB cert requirements.
If I reside in a CARB state and have purchased a new, non-CARB Mazda6, I cannot title that vehicle in my state if it has under 7500 miles on it. However, what if I didn't apply for a title until the car passed 7500 miles? Based on the wording of the law regarding exemptions, it states:
It specifically does not state "at the time of purchase". What do you guys think?
