LED’s & PCM’s

I do know that there are many owners of the Mazda 6 that have replaced the stock bulbs with LED's and there have been zero issues. It is important that the right ones be used.

Understood. I’m just trying to figure out why I had to replace my oem PCM and then 200 miles later have to replace it again. It’s the only explanation I have as I put those LEDs in a day or two before.

I'm not going to argue but I was under the impression the LED bulb draws less voltage than the standard bulb. I don't see how it could have a negative effect.

The BCM relies on a certain voltage/load, fitting LED's lowers the voltage use/load & this can confuses the BCM. Also the can sometimes spike the BCM.
I'm no expert in electronics, just adding what I know when I can.
