I am trying to find an easy way to get a positive and ground to hook up LED's under my dash. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When I attempted to install under-dash LED lighting in my 06 Frontier, it turned out that finding a negative was actually harder than finding a positive. Most late model cars use what's called a Body Control Module under the dash. It's no longer about just simply hooking your LEDlights to the dome light. The BCM in my Frontier provided ground to the dome light circuit when a door was opened, the ignition key was turned to the 'off' position when shutting down or when I unlocked the truck with the alarm fob. If your car employs a BCM (which I believe it probably does) you'll need to find a wiring diagramfor it and determine whichwire provides ground (or power, whichever it may be) to your dome light circuit in order for this to work correctly.

You can do it this way, or find a way to run a wire directly to one of your dome lights and hope that it doesn't cause a circuit overload.

I actually already completed the job. I aspliced into my cigarette lighter in the center console, and added a switch under the dash.
