Default Installed newer electric seats

The seats in my 05 Mazda 6 were garbage. Frames were pushing through the foam and fabric. I found and purchased some nice seats from an 07 Mazda 6. They fit in the car just fine, but the driver side is electric. Is it possible to wire these seats in or not? I don't really care, cause it is set right where it is comfortable for me, but my daughters will be driving this car, and they need to be able to adjust it a bit. Any ideas or help would be great.

I don't have any personal experience converting a 6 to power seats, but will say that in my experience the Japanese are efficient about how they do things and it's quite possible the wiring for them is already in place. If you dig around under the carpeting, I'd bet you find either the wiring or the connectors for it. You might need some switches or a sub-harness to join the two together, but I'd bet it's there somewhere.
This is true of adding things like cruise control to a base model, or heated mirrors. The power and often connectors are already there, you just need to locate them and add any parts that aren't already there.
Let us know what you find.
