How do I replace the headlight bulb????

The headlight in my Mazda6 just burned out. I looked at it and it looks like a nightmare. The headlight is the "outside" bulb. Has anyone replaced this light? There are some clips on the outside lens. Does this come off? I looked inside and the bulb looks like it is under the side fender. Also, I suppose the Mazda dealer would be the only one who would have a replacement bulb. I will go over there later today. It sure is not like the old days when it comes to something simple like changing a headlight.

Most of the guys change the bulb by actually removing the front bumper & then removing the headlamp assembly to get to the bulb. I am lucky to have not changed the lowbeam yet. The other bulbs are a little easier to access.

The low beam bulb is not too difficult to replace. I had to replace my passenger side low beam recently. Just had to remove the coolant tank so I could access the lamp. Have not dealt with the drivers side yet but since replacing the stock intake with aftermarked cold air there is plenty of room to get to the bulb covers.
