Help needed

Default Help needed

Hi all i'm having a bit of an issue with my 2008 Mazda 6 ts2 2.0
I have two codes P2463 & P242f when i clear the codes turn ignition on engine not running both codes come back within about 20 seconds
Looking for any ideas on how to fix.

Both relate to a blocked DPF, P242f will prevent a manual forced regen. I suggest you find someone who can manually wash out the DPF. Once that's done, you may be able to clear the codes and carry out a forced regen.

Hi and thanks for the reply i have had a new dpf fitted today (a friend has his own garage) and i have exactly the same fault as before.
Baffled and a tad anoyed this beautiful looking car is starting to become a bit of a pain.

Update. Happy to say its all sorted i bought a ELM 327 OBDii adaptor from ebay with forscan Reset the dpf learned values and reset the differental pressure sensor learned values cleared all DTC's.
All warning lights off, what a brilliant pice of kit.
