heated seats?

I use my heated seats year round to relax my back. The problem is the heated seats in the mazda don't stay on very long. They heat up to a certain temp, turn off, when it cools down to a certain point they turn themselves back on, and so on. Is there a way to disable this feature? Or a way to just make them stay on longer.

RE: heated seats?

You'd overheat the system and melt your seats....I don't think you'd want that.

sstlaure is exactly right, there is a thermal switch that turns the heated seats off when it reaches a certain temperature to prevent it from burning a hole in the seat.

yeah, you'd really relax your back, but i dont think you would be happy with what would happen to the car...

yeah, you don't want to really crack/dry out your leather seats as that will be a very expensive fix for you vehicle.
