"Headlight Assembly" Change

Last year I had some small swirling scratches just below headlight on corner on driver side. He buffed it out, did a hood alignment and some other minor thing.
Later i noticed some small fine scratches in the headlight. I did put some McGuires wax on it (not sure if it was before or after i saw scratches).
I got a headlight repair kit and wet sanded the headlights, put the compound on and buffed it. It got worse!

What a difference! good lights are very important in the tundra!

I noticed you used TYC brand headlight assemblies - did you look at any of the others, i.e. Depo, Sonar, Junyan? I need one for my Mazda 3 and found more choices than expected, as well as prices ranging from $72-$165. And CAPA vs non-CAPA choices.

to be honest, i didn't care what brand, as long as it was clear. I get free stuff, so I left it up to the boss! I have no idea on the cost.
