Front Pads replaced, bleed?

I had to replace my front pads today. I compressed the cylinder so I could get the caliper back on.

Do I need to bleed the brakes? If so front and back or just front?

No, you will not have to bleed the brakes.

Depending on how old the brake fluid is, you might want to consider bleeding them anyway... Brake fluid takes on moisture and ages. If there is any discoloration in the fluid, I would bleed it out, but that is just me. Why change out the pads only to run the risk of poor brake performance all to save $5 on a can of brake fluid?
