Features you would add/change if you could on your 2nd Gen 6?

There are a few things my wife and I miss that our other vehicle has and I wish our Mazda had.

(1) Doors that automatically lock when the car is shifted into drive. I know there is a guy that codes modules for these. I'll probably pick one up at some point.

(2) Doors that automatically unlock when you pull the interior door handle.

(3) Better notification for low fuel. All you get is that easily missed light. My SUV has a light, a ding, a 'Check Gage' icon on the dash and notification on the center consoel trip computer. There's no way you're going to forget to get gas in that truck. http://forum.mazda6club.com/style_em...fault/wink.gif

(4) Automatic headlights that come on in the rain as this is required in most states in the US.

(5) We would like the bluetooth to automatically connect the 2nd phone. My wife has to manually connect her phone when she gets in the car.

I'm sure there are others I can't think of atm but those are a few. If anyone has a solution for 2-5 please do share.

I also would like the auto locks for the doors.

The other thing I would change is the overdrive gear ratio on the 6spd manual on the I. It is way to short, and probably the main reason the auto is EPA rated better on the highway. It is turning 3000rpm at 70. The upside to this is you still have usable power in 6th at highway speeds.

I would also like to see Mazda come out with a Sport VE edition like they had available on the 07-08 1G 6. I believe this would increase the popularity tremendously for the 2G 6.

Otherwise, I really like my car, and really can't think of anything else.
