Default Engine swap

Can I swap my 2004 engine with 2006 ford fusion engine?

will i have any major issues with the swapping ? thanks alot

Hi ud, no one seems to know or want to answer that question. Mine is a 2.3 non turbo. If you find out anything, let me know. I will do the same.

I'd say we don't know cause no one we know of has tried/done it before.
In any case I'm sure you would at least need the engine PCM and wirting harness. Modern cars are not at all like cars of the past. It is much harder to determine not only if a donor engine will physically fit, but also whether or not the on-board electronics will accept the change. Think heart transpant in a human being.

What engine are you specifically talking about?
