Engine "sputtering"...

I have a 2004 Mazda 6 Wagon. The engine recently started to sputter while around 1-2rpms. When I accelerate, it more than likely will stop. As I sit idle, it feels like someone is slightly bumping the car. The engine light just recently went on as well. Any ideas?

I use normal gas, nothing fancy, and recently have put a high mileage bottle of fuel injector cleaner in the tank. I have read that it could be the spark plugs, but not really sure. It doesn't feel like the transmission, but any help would be great!

Thank you!

Take the car and have the code pulled. Post the code here and we can help you better. Is the car a 4cyl or V6?

Mileage? Ever change plugs, ignition coils, or PCV before?

Engine

The engine is a V6 with about 88K miles. I'm going to get the code read sometime this week. I'll post it as soon as I get it.

Catalytic converter blockage?

Sounds like either a T/Body or MAF sensor problem. These cars are notorious for acting up when those get dirty.
