engine rattle

hey guys i recently encountered this weird problem with my '04 6-s automatic, so i was hoping someone might be able to help me out. Lately, whenever I drive my car I hear this rattle, rumbling kind of noise from the engine. well i think it's the engine becasue when i have my windows open you can totally hear something rattling from the front part of the car. Before i would hear something similar but alot quieter when i was going up a steep hill or just a regular hill for that matter so i figured it was because i was going up a hill, but now the last couple of days, i can hear the rattle sound almost driving in any kind of condition of the road. straight, smooth, flat roads or a hill i can hear it. So, if anyone could give me some help on this i would really appreciate it. I'm just so worried because I just bought this car last year and yeah. thanks guys
(p.s. do you think if i got an oil change it would stop the noise?)

I would honestly take it to the dealer and have them find the problem. As for the oil change, you do that every 5k miles on a regular basis. Make sure you have a high enough oil level as well to lubricate your system.

I dont know if this is the same problem but i had a rattle in the engine as well . It turned out to be the airbox rattling against the frame. A piece of foam did the trick

I've seen it before ; the heat shield of the exhaust pipe (catalyctic converter) is a thin piece of aluminium that rattles when corroding / damaged / loosened .
