EGT Sensor failure
Hi,
I Have Mazda 6 2.0TD (MZR-CD) from 2008 (280 000km). The middle exhaust gas temperature sensor on dpf has failed. It show 143 deg C (other two show 50 deg C) in room temperature and 650 deg C (other two 200-250 deg C) when normally driving. And when measured the ohms it shows lower numbers than the other EGT sensor. Those causes that dpf regen doesn't go through.
Apparently there are only OEM EGT sensors available but those are way too expensive. Does anyone know that do the same age Mazda 6 sensors fit the car electrically? Meaning that do those have same ohm chart? I can make new connections but would like to know does Mazda 3 sensor give correct values to ECU? Thanks for any help.
