Drivers side door will not open?

Have a 2003 Mazda 6i. Started last Thursday where the drivers side door will not open. Had dealer look at it the same day as total would be $520 to fix it. Needs a replacement Door Latch Assembly. Dealer was nice enough to give me the part # for this. Average price is $148 + shipping...

Has anyone had this happen to their Mazda?

Inside on the drivers door lock/latch, when unlocked it is not all the way open and difficult to try to force it to go all the way, locking the door manually is no problem....... I have had 2 days since where the door would open...
Definitely something electronically, on Sunday when it was opening again, left it unlocked while at my brothers house, when I left after couple hours, it had locked itself on its own!!

Help!!??

Here is the part # for future reference; GK2C59310H

I have another dealer looking at it this Friday as he was honestly questioning if it really needs all the parts that come with the kit. He wants to see how the condition of the wiring is inside the door to confirm what it needs.

Just received a second opinion from another Mazda Service Dealer; confirmed it is the Door Latch Assembly. (Part # listed previous post)

The difference was the price, dealer today was almost $200 less for the same part, labor and tax. What really impressed me was when the Service manager quoted me the price today he offered me a 15% off coupon to use when the part comes in to be replaced. Sold!
