Does anyone jknow where to find the date of manufacture on the 2010 Mazda6? I do not see anything relevant to that on the doorposts? On the vin maybe? Reason is there has been a recall something to do with spiders and increasing fuel pressure on 42K recalled cars. can check this link from my local TV station.

Don't know about VIN thing, but I will comment on the spiders.
I don't know where Mazda stores there stuff, but it must be outside in a F'n Forest!
I have spiders on my 2006. A few years ago, June 2011, i changed the intake plenum seals on my car and there are spiders!
Wish Mazda would be more professional on their storage facilities!
Apparently spiders could get in the gas tank vent system as well.

I have no idea where they make their entrance or how to tell if my particular vehicles one affected by this. I will have to contact the dealer and see. I did find out I believe the date mfg-rd is 5/10.
