Default Dash Display Lights, Keep Going Out. Ambient Button.

Before my car ran over the warranty the dash lights, specifically the radio display keep going out, not all the way, just parts at a time and then would come back on. So, I had Mazda fix it. Now the clock is missing the minutes. Very annoying. It's no longer under warranty so I want to fix this myself. Anyone that knows how I would really love the help.
Also the ambient air temperature button is almost non-functional. You have to press it incredibly hard to get the reading out. Anyone else with this problem and maybe know how to fix that. This cars falling apart on me. Needs rotors, new clutch, spark plugs, and just did the brakes. Everything always at once, would it ever be any other way.
