Default Cylinder deactivation vibration

Hi all, I’m having issues with my Mazda6 GS-L 2020 2.5l with CD vibrating terribly when going into two cylinder mode?

It's the worst while going between 80kmh and 100 kmh

Has anyone had a resolution to this issue from Mazda ?

Please help!! I have around 2000km on the car and just starting to notice this issue.

There was a recall that required a PCM software update.

I'm having vibration issues with my brand new Mazda 6 when it hits 80kmph. I was told today there is a known issue with the Cylinder Deactivation System, which kicks in around 80kmph. My car is currently with the dealership while they fit a "part" to hopefully resolve the issue. They haven't yet told me what the part is to fix the problem. I will be test driving it again tomorrow and if the issue persist I'll be taking it straight back.

Ant1972: Did the "part" work?
I took delivery of a 2022 CX-5 and am having vibration problems at speed (95-110kph) too! Dealer balanced wheels & reduced tyre pressure from F38/R41 psi (on delivery) to F33/R33 psi. Vibration felt on footwell and seat still there. Any assistance much appreciated.

Hi, no the part did not work. Mazda Australia took it for a test drive and claimed everything with the car is "normal" and the vibration is within "acceptable tolerances". I'm not happy at all because the cylinder deactivation feature cannot be disabled and I was basically told to put up with it or sell the car.
