Hi to all, I'm in need of some help here. So, I bought that 2009 Mazda 6, only 125K miles (200K km), and I drove it myself into to my garage, so it was running till the moment I pulled the engine out.
It needed the water pump replaced (it was leaking). I replaced all timing chains and the water pump (being absolutely sure that the timing marks were good), and put it back. It has new spark plugs, trans oil, steering oil and engine oil and filter
Now, the car cranks, but it doesn't start. There is fuel pressure, but there is no spark. There is a icon on the dashboard (the car with a lock symbol), that even when I put the key (which has the RFID chip) in the ignition flash every 2 seconds and it does never go away.
Error codes: I get only this one:
P1000:00-2B OBD Systems Readiness Test Not Complete
So, I suspect it's the immobilizer system. It's there a separated battery for the security system or something like that? How would I proceed from here?
